Troy Summer Day Camp Program
Fun, Safe, Licensed & Affordable
The Troy Summer Camp (MI State Licensed School-Aged Childcare) program is designed to benefit school age children with working parents. At just $229 per week, it’s an affordable solution for families who want to be sure their kids are in a safe, structured and nurturing environment during and after the workday. Program is brought to you by Troy Black Belt Academy, Inc and has had the same owner since 1985. Parents asked for it and we started our childcare program in 2000.

Spacious Facilities
Our recently expanded three-storefront facility features a large open area where children play a myriad of physical games, a smaller room dedicated to arts and crafts, and a video game room where some campers choose to spend a little time relaxing after karate/fitness classes.
Daily Field Trips
Even though there is never a dull moment in the main facility, campers look forward to our daily field trips to such destinations as: local parks, Spencer Park Beach, movie theaters, roller skating rinks, Chuck E. Cheese, Troy Lanes Bowling Alley, Jeepers, and more!
Fitness Classes and Activities
We offer daily martial arts or general fitness classes for no additional charge. Being physically active on a regular basis helps your child to sleep and handle stress better. In addition to organized fitness classes, many campers take part in the wide array of physical games organized by our instructors including: dodge ball, capture the flag, freeze tag, and some original creations!
Supervised Activities
We provide a variety of activities including: sports, games, supervised internet access, arts and crafts, movies, or reading. Because of this wide array of activities, campers are always participating in something that serves to stimulate their mind.
Nurturing, Structured Environment
All of our staff members are black belts who enjoy and have experience working with children. Kids thrive under the martial arts traditions and we provide a fun, nurturing and structured environment that helps foster self- discipline, confidence and respect.
Lasting Friendships
Many of our new campers start the summer knowing only a small handful of their peers at the Troy Summer Camp. After only a few short weeks, these newer members have developed strong friendships with many of the campers that last for the duration of the summer and indefinitely into the future.
